FelipeDrugovich

Felipe Drugovich's 2022 was a masterclass in front-running control. The Brazilian, with MP Motorsport, hit the ground hard early in the year, stringing together feature-race wins and building a points cushion that his rivals could never seriously threaten. Théo Pourchaire chased and Logan Sargeant flickered, but Drugovich's blend of speed and race-craft made the title a matter of when, not if — and he sealed it with rounds to spare. The championship earned him an Aston Martin reserve role and, when Lance Stroll was injured in pre-season, a tantalising taste of Formula 1 machinery. A dominant, unfussy campaign by a driver who simply did the job better than anyone.
