Zandvoort put Drugovich within touching distance of the crown. He took pole. In the Sprint, Novalak started from reverse-grid pole, but Armstrong led every lap for a measured win, managing a final-lap shootout after a late safety car when Calderón spun at Turn 2 with a few laps to go. Novalak held second and Hauger third. Title rival Pourchaire tumbled to the back after a lap-two lock-up, a costly afternoon, while Drugovich claimed the fastest-lap bonus from around tenth. The Feature was chaotic but emphatic. Drugovich led from lights to flag in a race shaped by a red flag and two safety cars. Sargeant crashed on the opening lap, sliding through the gravel and into the barriers after contact, bringing a lengthy stoppage that shortened the race to a time limit. A later caution followed a botched pit stop for Sato, who hit the wall, and at the restart Doohan was tagged from behind by Verschoor and spun out, with others eliminated in the same sequence. Drugovich controlled it all to win, Verschoor second, Iwasa third and Hauger fourth. The victory put the title all but beyond reach, leaving him needing only a formality at Monza.
