OscarPiastri

Oscar Piastri completed one of the most emphatic junior résumés in memory: Formula Renault, then FIA Formula 3, then Formula 2 — three titles in three seasons, the last two as a rookie. With PREMA in 2021, the Australian was metronomic, racking up wins and podiums across a revised, sprint-heavy format and seeing off teammate Robert Shwartzman with the composure of a driver who simply did not crack. The cruel irony was that a full Formula 1 grid left him without a race seat for 2022; he spent a year as Alpine's reserve before a contractual saga delivered him to McLaren. The 2021 crown remains the definitive statement of a generational talent.
