Terms of Service

By accessing or using F1pedia (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Independent Fan Project

F1pedia is an independent, non-commercial fan project created for informational and educational purposes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Formula 1, Formula One Management Ltd. (FOM), the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), any Formula 1 team, driver, sponsor, or any of their respective subsidiaries or licensees. References to "Formula 1", "F1", "FIA", team names, driver names, and related trademarks are used solely for identification and informational purposes under nominative fair use and do not imply any sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

2. Acceptance

Accessing or using F1pedia constitutes your acceptance of these Terms in full. These Terms apply to all users worldwide, regardless of location.

3. Permitted Use

You may use F1pedia solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: (a) scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service; (b) reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, or commercialize any content, data, or visualizations from the Service without prior written permission; (c) use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; or (e) use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

4. Data Attribution and Third-Party Rights

Race and telemetry data displayed on F1pedia is sourced from FastF1, OpenF1, and the Formula 1 official live-timing API. F1pedia does not claim ownership over any underlying race data, statistics, or third-party trademarks. All Formula 1-related trademarks, trade names, and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. F1pedia's use of such data and names is intended solely for fan, educational, and analytical purposes.

5. Intellectual Property

The F1pedia source code, original design, UI, and curated analytical content are © F1pedia and its contributors, except where otherwise noted. All rights reserved. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on F1pedia's proprietary code or design without express written consent. Visualizations and analyses generated through the Service may be shared by users for non-commercial purposes, provided clear attribution to F1pedia is included.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. F1pedia makes no guarantee that data is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Race data, timing, and statistics may differ from official sources. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, F1PEDIA AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $10.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Santa Fe, Argentina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Santa Fe, Argentina. If you access the Service from outside Argentina, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

9. Changes to These Terms

F1pedia reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of F1pedia after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
