Pourchaire topped Group A and Shwartzman Group B; Pourchaire's overall fastest time made him Formula 2's youngest-ever polesitter. Zhou won a clean Sprint 1 from Drugovich and Nissany, while Shwartzman's race ended with lap-one collision damage and Lundgaard stopped with an oil leak. Sprint 2 saw Lawson take the flag first but lose it to disqualification for using the wrong throttle map at the start, handing victory to Ticktum from Piastri and Vips. Armstrong's driveshaft failed after a single lap. The Feature crowned Pourchaire the youngest race winner in F2 history at 17 years and 264 days, ending Lando Norris's record; he led all but a handful of laps. Three virtual safety cars, sparked by wall contact from Armstrong and Zendeli, shaped the strategy. Shwartzman lost places with a slow pit stop and recovered to fourth, while Drugovich made an alternate strategy work to climb from ninth to third. Ticktum crashed at Rascasse chasing Piastri and retired; Daruvala was out earlier with collision damage. Zhou held the points lead in the streets of Monaco from Piastri and Pourchaire.
