The Red Bull Ring delivered chaos and a decisive title swing. Fornaroli took Feature pole, with Bennett on reverse-grid Sprint pole and both Martí and Lindblad penalised three places for impeding in qualifying. The Sprint was red-flagged early on when Meguetounif collided with Lindblad and Browning at Turn 3 and ended up upside down, all three out but unharmed. Bennett lost the lead at the start to Dürksen, then Martí passed Dürksen for the lead and won ahead of the AIX driver and Staněk, while late chaos saw Cordeel spin and collect Minì, Bennett and Fornaroli. The Feature was settled in post-race scrutineering: Dunne crossed the line second behind Verschoor but was disqualified for excessive plank wear, promoting Fornaroli to second and Crawford to third. Verschoor had passed Martins for the lead around the middle of the race and controlled from there, the race finishing behind a late safety car after a car was stranded in the gravel. Martí took a ten-second penalty for hitting Martins from behind, dropping him out of the top five. Verschoor's win combined with Dunne's disqualification blew the title race open: Verschoor took the lead on 114 points, with Dunne's deficit ballooning to twenty-four.
