The Story

The Hungaroring saw an Invicta front-row lockout as Staněk took pole from team-mate Fornaroli, with Crawford completing an all-blue top three on the grid. The Sprint went to Martí, his third win of the year, leading from reverse-grid pole and holding off Dunne by a couple of tenths after a late mistake brought them side by side through the final sector. Dunne had earlier passed Lindblad at Turn 1 for second, and Crawford picked off Lindblad on the last lap for third. The Feature became an Invicta one-two: starting second, Fornaroli used the overcut to jump pole-sitter Staněk for the net lead and won ahead of his team-mate, with Crawford third after pressuring Staněk for second without finding a way by. A five-second pit-lane speeding penalty did not cost Fornaroli the win, and Browning held off a late attack for fourth. Cordeel retired early with engine failure, prompting a virtual safety car, Martins and Bennett also dropping out, and Beganovic set the fastest lap to claim the bonus point. The result stretched Fornaroli's championship lead, with Invicta commanding the teams' standings on the back of their dominant weekend.
