Jeddah lost its headline before it began: Bearman set Feature pole but withdrew after being called up to replace Sainz at Ferrari in Formula 1, promoting Maini to the front. Hauger, meanwhile, had broken a wishbone clipping a wall in qualifying, compromising his grid slot. The Sprint delivered drama and disqualification. Villagómez scored his first F2 points in ninth, and Maloney's seventh-place recovery from sixteenth kept him atop the standings as the title picture stayed open.
