At Spa, Tsunoda took pole by 0.128s from Mazepin. The Feature was decided by the stewards. Mazepin passed Tsunoda at La Source on lap one but ran wide, and a virtual safety car followed when Drugovich clipped Matsushita at Blanchimont, ending the latter's race early. Mazepin built a four-second lead that shrank to under a second late on, and crossed the line first, only to receive a five-second penalty for forcing Tsunoda off track at Les Combes. Tsunoda was classified the winner, with Mazepin second and Schumacher third. Drugovich was disqualified for pitting on the final lap. The reversed-grid Sprint began in chaos: Tsunoda ran wide at La Source then spun championship leader Ilott at Malmedy, ending Ilott's race with terminal damage and bringing the first safety car. A Ticktum-Nissany clash brought a second. Shwartzman won off a strong start and the leaders' troubles, with Schumacher carving through to demote Ticktum for second on the Kemmel Straight, a PREMA 1-2. Tsunoda was penalised for causing a collision. With Ilott scoring just a single point all weekend, Shwartzman retook the championship lead by ten points.
