Spielberg's second weekend, the Styrian round, saw Tsunoda take his maiden F2 pole by under four hundredths from Zhou. Rain forced the Feature to start behind the safety car, and Markelov spun into the gravel on the way to the grid, a non-starter. Tsunoda led most of the race but a slow stop tied to a radio problem dropped him behind the PREMA of Shwartzman and Zhou. Shwartzman, from sixth, claimed a maiden F2 victory, holding off Tsunoda by 1.5s as Zhou completed the podium under late pressure from Schumacher. The reversed-grid Sprint went to Lundgaard for his maiden F2 win. It unravelled at the start when points leader Shwartzman spun himself out at Turn 1, bringing a virtual safety car. On the restart Lundgaard passed Ticktum at Turn 3 for the lead, having already cleared teammate Armstrong. Tsunoda retired early with a suspected clutch issue, and Schumacher's race ended when his in-car fire extinguisher discharged around half-distance. Lundgaard beat Ticktum and Armstrong. Shwartzman still led the championship despite the Sprint blank, narrowly over Lundgaard and Ilott.
