At Paul Ricard, Sette Câmara took pole in an incident-strewn qualifying that featured two red flags. The Feature exploded into life at Turn 1, where de Vries vaulted from fourth into the lead. Behind, the opening lap descended into carnage — Gelael hit Prema team-mate Schumacher and sent him airborne, while Boschung and Mazepin collided, all eliminated, forcing a red flag. Aitken briefly led around the stops but de Vries retook command on cold tyres and pulled clear. Ghiotto ran the alternate strategy from deep on the grid and led much of the race before a speeding penalty and then a wheel-breaking clash with Correa ended both their afternoons. Sette Câmara passed Aitken on the penultimate lap for second. de Vries's win lifted him to the championship lead. Sunday's Sprint was another Hubert masterclass, the Frenchman leading from reverse-grid pole to a dominant home win over an all-rookie podium. Correa carved past Aitken on the brakes to recover second, with Zhou third after passing Latifi. de Vries faded badly to finish out of the points. It was Hubert's second sprint win in a row.
