Monaco's split-group qualifying produced a Ferrari-junior 1-2 in Group A as Ilott pipped Schumacher, but de Vries was fastest of all in Group B to take overall pole. In the Feature, Ilott never started, sidelined by a mechanical issue, while de Vries controlled proceedings from the front. A red flag around mid-distance, triggered when Schumacher tried to squeeze past Calderón at La Rascasse and left Delétraz nowhere to go, wiped out de Vries's lead, but he simply rebuilt it at the restart to win. Ghiotto crossed the line second but was disqualified for a technical infringement, promoting Matsushita to second, Sette Câmara third and Boccolacci fourth. Latifi served a drive-through for contact with team-mate Gelael. Sunday's Sprint belonged to Hubert, who controlled it from reverse-grid pole through two safety-car restarts to win by a whisker — just 0.059s — from a fast-closing Delétraz, with Zhou third. Ghiotto, from the back, ruined the races of others before retiring. Hubert's home triumph in the principality was a highlight of his season. Latifi clung to the championship lead, just one point clear of de Vries.
