Baku was Bearman's breakout. He claimed a maiden pole, then converted both races. The Sprint was chaos: Verschoor hit the wall on lap one, contact eliminated several more, and a final-laps restart on cold tyres triggered a pile-up at Turn 1 that took out leader Hauger and several others. Bearman passed Vesti when the Prema driver ran wide at Turn 4 on the last restart, just before the race ended under safety car, completing a Prema one-two with Vesti, and Crawford third. Three safety cars punctuated the carnage. In the Feature, Bearman led from pole but had to fight: Pourchaire briefly took the lead with DRS before Bearman reclaimed it into Turn 1 and pulled clear. A virtual safety car for Benavides' off prompted the leaders to take their mandatory stops together, preserving the order. Fittipaldi passed Pourchaire for second late on, with Bearman winning ahead of Fittipaldi and Pourchaire. Martins was disqualified post-race for a floor infringement. Bearman's double launched him up the order, and Pourchaire retook the championship lead.
