Zandvoort was defined by rain and chaos. Crawford took pole, but the Sprint never reached points-scoring distance: run in heavy rain after a delayed rolling start, it saw an opening-lap crash at Turn 5 when Maini wobbled on a wet kerb and collected Crawford and his own teammate Boschung, eliminating all three. Two red flags followed – the second when rain returned – and the race was abandoned without the two green laps needed for points. Hadjar was classified first but scored nothing. The Feature, run to time on a mostly-dry line, produced a surprise winner in Novalak, who took Trident's first F2 feature win from 13th. Lap-one chaos saw Doohan spin out and Vesti drop to the back, but the title contenders' weekends unravelled on their cold out-laps: Pourchaire crashed at Turn 7 and Vesti lost both rear wheels leaving the pits, both retiring. Novalak pitted just before a safety car, vaulted to the lead, held the restart and won ahead of Maloney and Crawford. With both Pourchaire and Vesti scoring nothing, the championship gap held steady.
