Silverstone's second weekend, the 70th Anniversary round, saw Ilott take pole as the season's first repeat polesitter, finding over six tenths on his second run to beat Lundgaard by 0.115s with Aitken third. The Feature was a Ilott masterclass: he led from pole, and after the stops cycled built a buffer of more than eight seconds. Lundgaard battled front-left blistering to hold second, with Aitken claiming third for his first podium of the season at home. Ticktum jumped to second early but ran wide and slid backwards on degradation. The result mirrored the front of the grid. In the reversed-grid Sprint the two PREMAs ran 1-2 for much of the race, Shwartzman leading Schumacher. With Shwartzman on dead tyres late, Schumacher's outside move ended in contact at Brooklands, costing Shwartzman his front wing and his points; stewards called it a racing incident. Tsunoda, running third, inherited the win from Carlin, with Schumacher second and Aitken third for his second podium of the weekend. Ilott took over the championship lead on 106 from Lundgaard and Shwartzman.
