Teppei Natori is a Japanese racing driver who reached the FIA Formula 3 Championship as a Honda-backed protege. He earned his European opportunity off the back of a strong 2018 Japanese Formula 4 campaign, in which he finished runner-up to Yuki Tsunoda with three wins, 11 podiums and four poles.

Formula 3

Natori contested the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Carlin (running under its "Carlin Buzz" title partnership), as the team's first signing for the new-look series. The season proved difficult; he scored just a single point, courtesy of an eighth place at Spa-Francorchamps, and finished near the back of the standings. He fared better in parallel Euroformula Open outings with Carlin, taking pole, fastest lap and victory at Barcelona among three podiums.

After Formula 3

Natori returned to Japan, contesting the inaugural Super Formula Lights season in 2020 with Toda Racing and finishing fourth. Switching to B-Max Racing for 2021, he won the Super Formula Lights title, beating Giuliano Alesi, re-establishing himself as a front-runner in Japanese single-seaters after his tough European season.
