Raoul Hyman is a South African-born racing driver who competed under a British licence, having moved from South Africa to London at the age of 15. He reached the FIA Formula 3 Championship as the reigning Formula 3 Asian champion, a title that earned him his step up to the European-based series.
Hyman contested the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship with the Sauber Junior Team by Charouz. He had opened that year strongly elsewhere, taking fourth in the Toyota Racing Series with four podiums, but the FIA F3 campaign proved tough against a deep and fast field. He finished 22nd in the standings, scoring his only two points at the season finale in Sochi.
Hyman's career also took in regional Formula 3 and sports car racing, but his single FIA Formula 3 season represented the high point of his open-wheel ladder. He did not progress to Formula 2 or Formula 1.
