Nicola Marinangeli is an Italian racing driver from Foligno who made his FIA Formula 3 debut in 2025 with AIX Racing. He began in single-seaters in the Italian F4 Championship with DR Formula, scoring podiums and points, and took his first single-seater win in the 2020 Formula 4 UAE Championship. Between 2020 and 2022 he raced across the Formula Renault Eurocup and the Formula Regional Asian and European championships.
Marinangeli then spent two years away from formulae in sportscars, signing with AF Corse to race the GT3 versions of the Ferrari 488 and 296 in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup and the International GT Open — finishing sixth in the latter with a win, then improving to third in 2024 with two victories. On 17 February 2025 AIX Racing confirmed Marinangeli as their second 2025 FIA Formula 3 driver, marking his return to single-seater racing after that spell in GT competition.
