Lirim Zendeli (born 18 October 1999 in Bochum) is a German racing driver of Macedonian-Albanian descent who reached Formula 2 after a standout Formula 3 campaign.
Formula 3
Zendeli's first FIA F3 season, in 2019 with the Sauber Junior Team by Charouz, was a struggle: his only points came at the Red Bull Ring and he ended the year 18th with six points. He transformed his form in 2020 with Trident, taking his first F3 pole at Spa-Francorchamps and leading every lap to win the opening race there by some four seconds. With two poles and two podiums he finished 8th with 104 points.
Formula 2
That upturn earned Zendeli a graduation to FIA Formula 2 for 2021 with MP Motorsport, alongside Richard Verschoor. The season proved difficult — he scored 13 points across the year without a podium and finished 17th, departing the programme in early November for financial reasons. He returned only briefly in 2022, making a one-off substitute appearance for Campos Racing at Spa, where he finished 20th and was classified 29th in the standings.
After F2
With his single-seater path stalled, Zendeli moved into other categories, including the USF Pro 2000 Championship in the United States and Porsche championship racing.
