Joseph Loake (born 2005) is a British racing driver who reached the FIA Formula 3 Championship after a strong run through British single-seaters.
Loake earned his step up by impressing in the GB3 Championship, where he finished third overall with four wins, eight podiums and three pole positions, form that also won him the 2023 Aston Martin Autosport BRDC Award. As part of that prize he tested a Formula 1 car for the first time, driving for Aston Martin at Silverstone in August 2024.
Loake contested the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Rodin Motorsport, but joined the team at the last minute and went into his Bahrain debut without any prior running in the car. It was a difficult rookie season: his only points came at the Monaco round, where he took a best result of fifth in the sprint race and ninth in the feature, and he ended the year 26th in the standings. He frequently showed the speed to justify his signing, but track position and luck rarely converted that pace into points.
