Junior career

Grégoire Saucy is a Swiss racing driver who made his name as a dominant Formula Regional champion. In 2021, racing for ART Grand Prix, he won the Formula Regional European Championship (FRECA) in commanding fashion as a rookie - taking eight wins from twenty races and clinching the title by 68 points over his nearest rival.

Formula 3

That success earned Saucy a step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship for 2022, staying with ART Grand Prix and partnering Victor Martins and Juan Manuel Correa. The transition proved harder than his FRECA form suggested, and he finished 15th in the standings in a competitive field. He remained with ART for a second F3 season in 2023, lining up alongside Kaylen Frederick and Nikola Tsolov, but a campaign disrupted by repeated incidents left him 14th overall - albeit as the highest-placed ART driver - with 54 points.

After F2/F3

Saucy never quite replicated his FRECA dominance in Formula 3, and he did not progress to Formula 2 or Formula 1. His standout achievement remains that emphatic 2021 Formula Regional European title, one of the more convincing single-season campaigns in the series' history, which marked him as a genuine talent even if the higher rungs of the ladder proved tougher.
