Francesco Raffaele Pizzi (born 12 November 2004) is an Italian racing driver who contested the FIA Formula 3 Championship as a rookie in 2022.
Junior career
Before F3, Pizzi enjoyed a strong Formula 4 record: he won the UAE Formula 4 title in his first season with three poles and ten podiums (including eight wins), and finished runner-up in Italian F4 with a further three wins and seven podiums. He then stepped up via Formula Regional.
Formula 3
Pizzi joined Charouz Racing System for the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, partnering László Tóth and Ayrton Simmons. He contested all 18 races and finished 27th overall with a single point, scored with a tenth place in the feature race at Imola. His standout moment came at Spa-Francorchamps, where he qualified a remarkable third — his best grid slot of the year — though contact in the feature race (including being spun by Kush Maini) dropped him to 21st. The campaign with the privateer Charouz outfit was a tough but instructive rookie season.
