Dino Beganovic

Dino Beganovic is a Swedish-Bosnian racing driver and a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, which he joined in 2020. He built his single-seater career with Prema, progressing from karting through the junior formula ladder into FIA Formula 3 and then Formula 2.

Formula 3

Beganovic contested two FIA Formula 3 seasons with Prema, in 2023 and 2024, finishing sixth in the standings both years. In 2023 he took podiums in Bahrain, Monaco and Barcelona before an engine problem at Silverstone compromised his momentum, with a further podium in Hungary. In 2024 he became a race winner, claiming victories in Melbourne and at Spa-Francorchamps along with several podiums, again ending the year sixth overall.

Formula 2

Beganovic stepped up to FIA Formula 2 for the final two rounds of 2024 with DAMS Lucas Oil, replacing Juan Manuel Correa alongside Jak Crawford. He immediately impressed, taking a podium on debut: he crossed the line fourth in a chaotic sprint race and was promoted to third following a disqualification.

For his first full F2 season in 2025 he joined Hitech TGR, having spent five years within the Prema structure.

2026 / current season

For 2026 Beganovic moved to DAMS Lucas Oil, the team with which he had made his F2 debut. He announced himself emphatically at the opening round in Melbourne, sealing the first Aramco Pole Position Award of the season with a final-lap 1:28.695. The campaign settled into a points-scoring rhythm rather than outright wins: after the Barcelona round (round five, mid-June) he sat sixth in the standings on 53 points, the leading Ferrari Driver Academy prospect on the grid and firmly in the hunt to push toward the front of a tight 2026 fight.
