Devlin DeFrancesco is a Canadian racing driver whose single-seater path eventually led him to IndyCar in North America. In Europe he contested the inaugural FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2019 with Trident.
Across all 16 races of that 2019 campaign, racing alongside Niko Kari and Pedro Piquet, DeFrancesco failed to score a point and finished 25th in the standings. It proved to be his only season in the category before he redirected his career toward American open-wheel racing.
After Formula 3
DeFrancesco moved to the United States and graduated to IndyCar in 2022, driving the No. 29 entry for Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport, where his best result was a 12th place at Gateway and he finished 23rd in the standings. After further seasons in the series he signed a multi-year deal with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, returning to the IndyCar grid from 2025.
