Christian Ho is a Singaporean racing driver in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, and a genuine pioneer — the first driver from Singapore ever to secure a seat on the F3 grid, carrying the hopes of a nation that hosts a grand prix but had never produced an F3 racer.

The climb

Born in 2006, Ho graduated from WSK karting, where he was a member of the Sauber Karting Team from 2019 to 2021 and finished runner-up in both the German Junior Kart Championship and the Karting Academy Trophy. He moved into single-seaters via Formula 4 UAE before lighting up Spanish F4: in 2023 he was electric, scoring five wins, seven poles and 291 points to finish vice-champion. He then stepped up to Eurocup-3 and won the 2024 title with six wins and six poles across sixteen races, sealing it by five points — a championship that turned partly on a disqualification handed to original Barcelona winner Emerson Fittipaldi Jr. for an off-track overtake, which gifted Ho the victory.

Formula 3

Ho made history stepping up to FIA Formula 3 in 2025 with the new DAMS Lucas Oil team. His rookie year had a difficult start — a crash in the Melbourne feature race — but he rebounded, scoring twice in Bahrain and producing his best weekend at Silverstone with fifth in the feature and sixth in the sprint. He ended 22nd on 17 points, ahead of both team-mates.

2026 / current season

For 2026 Ho switched from DAMS to Rodin Motorsport for a second F3 campaign, joining a strong line-up alongside Monaco winner Brando Badoer. The target is clear: convert his obvious one-lap pace into a consistent points haul and the kind of step forward expected of a second-year driver. He has spoken of being 'very grateful' for the backing of Singapore, a country that hosts a marquee night grand prix but has never had a driver climb this high, and the weight of being its trailblazer is something he carries openly. Guided by Nicolas Todt's All Road Management — the agency behind Charles Leclerc and Felipe Massa — and armed with a winter's worth of lessons from his rookie year, Ho is steadily building the case to keep flying his country's flag up the single-seater ladder.
