Ayrton Simmons is a British racing driver who reached the FIA Formula 3 Championship after a strong run through British junior single-seaters. He was runner-up in the 2018 British F4 Championship and finished as vice-champion of the 2021 GB3 Championship before stepping up to FIA F3.
Simmons made his FIA F3 debut at the very end of the 2021 season, replacing Hunter Yeany at Charouz Racing System for the Sochi finale, where he finished his two races 24th and 21st. He stayed with Charouz for a full campaign in 2022, but the year was a struggle against limited resources at the back of a competitive grid. His best races came in the opening rounds, and his season was ultimately cut short by budget difficulties — he was replaced by David Schumacher and ended the championship 35th in the standings.
Alongside his F3 effort Simmons also raced in Euroformula Open. After his single-seater career stalled at this level, he did not progress to Formula 2.
