Imola handed Câmara his third pole in a row to open the European leg. The Sprint went to Tramnitz, who took the lead with DRS on lap three after starting behind reverse-grid polesitter Del Pino, then controlled the race for MP Motorsport's first one-two in the series, Del Pino claiming a maiden podium and Tsolov third. Two safety cars shaped it: one after Marinangeli suffered a rear tyre failure, another when Zagazeta speared into the gravel following contact with Voisin, who was penalised ten seconds. Câmara, mired in the pack, came home eleventh and scoreless. The Feature was a duel. Ramos passed Câmara around the outside of Tamburello on the opening lap to lead, Câmara reclaimed it with DRS on lap four, but after a VSC restart, triggered when Domingues and Benavides collided and Domingues retired, Ramos again went around the outside at Tamburello to retake the lead and held on by less than three tenths. Strømsted charged from fifth, erased a gap to Câmara and stole second on the final laps, just falling short of Ramos. Benavides and Lacorte took penalties. Câmara led by twenty-one points from Strømsted.
