Junior career

Clément Novalak is a French-Swiss racing driver who made his name in British single-seaters, winning the 2019 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Carlin before stepping up to the FIA ladder.

Formula 3

Novalak contested the FIA Formula 3 Championship for two seasons. In his 2020 rookie campaign with Carlin he picked up multiple podiums and fastest laps. Switching to Trident for 2021, he had a standout year — four podiums, helping Trident to the teams' title, and finishing third in the drivers' standings, his best result on the FIA junior ladder.

Formula 2

He made his Formula 2 debut at the end of 2021, replacing Lirim Zendeli at MP Motorsport for the final two rounds, then contested a full rookie campaign with MP in 2022. His best result that year was second in the Zandvoort sprint race, and although he finished 14th in the standings he contributed to MP Motorsport's maiden F2 teams' title. He reunited with Trident for 2023 and took his maiden F2 race victory in a dramatic, attrition-hit feature race at Zandvoort.

After F2/F3

Following three seasons in Formula 2, Novalak moved into endurance racing rather than continuing on the single-seater path. He tested an LMP2 car at the WEC rookie test in Bahrain in late 2023 and signed to contest the European Le Mans Series with Inter Europol Competition for 2024, also making his endurance debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
