Arvid Lindblad is the British-Swedish Red Bull junior who rewrote record books in both FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 before turning 18, earning a Formula 1 seat off the back of a blistering rise through the single-seater ladder.
Formula 3
A member of the Red Bull Junior Team since 2021, Lindblad stepped up to FIA Formula 3 in 2024 with PREMA Racing. He immediately stood out, becoming the youngest feature-race winner in the series' history and pulling off a historic double win at Silverstone, the first ever achieved in F3. He ended the year fourth overall and as the championship's highest-scoring rookie, helping PREMA to a third successive teams' title.
Formula 2
Lindblad graduated to FIA Formula 2 in 2025 with Campos Racing. He wasted no time making history, becoming the youngest race-winner in Formula 2's history at 17 years and 254 days, a victory inherited after Richard Verschoor was penalised. He backed it up with further wins, taking victories at Jeddah and in Spain and adding pole positions as the youngest pole-sitter in the category. He established himself as a regular frontrunner and finished sixth in the championship.
After F2
The combination of record-breaking pace and consistency convinced Red Bull to promote him: Lindblad made his Formula 1 debut with Racing Bulls at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix, aged 18. His junior campaigns stand out not just for the wins but for how early in his life he was setting series records.
