The Story

Silverstone was the Nikola Tsolov show. Câmara put his Invicta on pole ahead of Dunne, but Saturday's Sprint set the tone: from sixth on the grid, Tsolov survived a lap-six Safety Car and spent the closing laps all over championship rival Minì, pouncing with DRS on the final lap after the MP Motorsport driver locked up at the Loop — a fifth win of the season that put the Bulgarian back on top of the standings. Sunday's Feature Race became a tyre-strategy chess match. Both front-row starters bogged down at lights out and Maini flew into the lead ahead of Tsolov. The soft-tyre runners bailed out early for hards while Villagómez stretched a marathon opening stint. Tsolov shadowed Maini through the middle phase and seized the net lead with a spectacular move through Maggotts and Becketts, while Villagómez rejoined seventh after his late stop and scythed past Câmara at Stowe, Dunne on the Wellington Straight and then Maini — only to run out of laps, falling 5.8 seconds short. A record-breaking third consecutive victory sealed an iconic Silverstone double for Tsolov, ahead of Villagómez, Maini, Dunne, Câmara and Minì, with León, Bilinski, Dürksen and Inthraphuvasak completing the points.
