The Story

Monaco split qualifying into two groups, and Câmara delivered for Invicta as the only driver under 1:21 to claim the Group A pole, despite damaging his car on the barriers earlier in the session and having it repaired under a red flag. Tsolov topped Group B to line up alongside him on the front row. Two red flags interrupted qualifying, and a raft of penalties reshuffled the grid, with Dürksen tumbling to the back. The Sprint was a León masterclass: the Campos rookie led every lap for a lights-to-flag victory and a second straight Sprint win, ahead of Bilinski, who took a maiden F2 podium for DAMS, and Minì. The Feature Race, run on cold morning tyres, hinged on tyre temperature. Câmara led from pole but, after his stop onto fresh tyres, locked up into Sainte Dévote, ran into the run-off and could not rejoin, retiring under a VSC. Tsolov inherited the lead and converted it for Campos, taking victory and the fastest lap ahead of Dunne and Beganovic, who snatched the final podium spot from a cold-tyred Maini on the last lap. Minì was wrecked by a slow stop. After Campos's Monaco double, Minì clung to the championship lead by a single point from a resurgent Tsolov.
