Barcelona was a cleaner, more strategic weekend. From reversed-grid pole, Maini led the early laps of the Sprint but Martins took the win from second on the grid, with Maini holding second and qualifying pole-sitter Aron completing the podium in third; a rash of track-limits penalties peppered the order, with Hauger and Colapinto among those hit hardest by repeat offences. The Feature started with drama as Martins and Hauger collided and both retired off the line. Crawford controlled it from there to take the win, with Colapinto carving up from third to second and Correa rising from eighth to a podium in third, a DAMS one-three either side of the MP car. Barnard and Dürksen both retired with engine failures. Bortoleto picked up a five-second penalty for contact with Maini, dropping him from seventh to tenth. Aron held the championship lead with a century of points, but Hadjar's steady run moved him into second just nine behind, keeping the title fight tightly bunched at the front as the European leg gathered pace and the leaders traded blows rather than pulling clear.
