Jac Nellemann: A Brief Foray into Formula 1

Jacob "Jac" Nellemann, born on April 19, 1944, is a former racing driver from Denmark. His career at the pinnacle of motorsport, Formula 1, was confined to a single entry in 1976.

Formula 1 Debut and Participation

Nellemann's sole Formula 1 entry occurred at the 1976 Swedish Grand Prix. For this event, he was listed to drive Brabhams operated by the small RAM team. During the qualifying sessions, Nellemann utilized two different chassis: a BT42 and a BT44B. Despite participating in these sessions with both cars, he ultimately failed to qualify for the race. His involvement with Formula 1 extended to being on the entry list for the following year's race, the 1977 Swedish Grand Prix. However, he was not present for the qualifying sessions of that event, indicating his non-participation. This marked the extent of his presence in Formula 1.
