About Pascal Fabre
Introduction to Pascal Fabre
Pascal Fabre, born on January 9, 1960, is a former racing driver hailing from France. His career in top-tier motorsport included a period in Formula 1, where he participated in a limited number of Grands Prix during the 1987 season. Fabre's involvement in Formula 1 was primarily defined by his association with the AGS team.
Formula 1 Career: The AGS Tenure
Fabre made his Formula 1 debut on April 12, 1987. Throughout his single season in the sport, he competed in 14 Formula 1 Grands Prix. His entire Formula 1 participation was with the AGS team, an outfit that was noted for its uncompetitive performance during that period. Despite his efforts, Fabre was unable to secure any championship points during his Formula 1 tenure. His most notable results were two ninth-place finishes, achieved at both the French Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix. These results represented his best performances in the championship. Fabre's time with AGS concluded before the end of the 1987 season, as he was subsequently replaced by Roberto Moreno.
Post-Formula 1 Racing Endeavors
Following his departure from Formula 1, Pascal Fabre transitioned his racing career into the realm of sportscar endurance racing. From 1988 to 1990, he competed for Courage Compétition, participating in the World Sportscar Championship. Beyond his consistent involvement with Courage Compétition, Fabre continued to be active in sportscar racing throughout the 1990s, making short-term appearances for various other teams within the discipline.
