La Ronda 7 del Campeonato FIA Fórmula 3 2026 en Hungría ofreció un fin de semana lleno de acción en el Hungaroring. Taponen marcó el ritmo temprano, asegurando la pole position para la Carrera Principal. La Carrera Sprint vio a Naël de Campos Racing llevarse la victoria, con Le (ART Grand Prix) y Rivera (Campos Racing) completando el podio. La sólida actuación de Rivera continuó en la Carrera Principal, donde terminó sexto, sumándose al exitoso fin de semana de Campos Racing que también incluyó el segundo puesto de Ugochukwu.
El evento principal, la Carrera Principal, fue ganado por Slater para TRIDENT, quien subió al podio junto a Ugochukwu y Badoer (Rodin Motorsport). Badoer también consiguió un puesto entre los cinco primeros en la Carrera Sprint, demostrando una forma consistente. Colnaghi (MP Motorsport) fue otro piloto consistente, terminando cuarto en ambas carreras. Taponen, el pole-sitter, convirtió su sólida clasificación en un quinto puesto en la Carrera Principal y un sexto en la Sprint. Wharton (PREMA Racing) aseguró puntos en ambas carreras, terminando octavo en la Sprint y séptimo en la Principal. Estos resultados han intensificado significativamente la batalla por el campeonato a medida que avanza la temporada.
